To
begin with, language is
a congrecation of thoughts and feelings through a system of signals, such as voice sounds, gestures, or written symbols. Communication or language is a process every child learns from birth and during our
life we will usually learn many different languages.
Due
to the fact that both of my parents are Estonians , my mother tongue
is Estonian, therefore I can speak and write in it very fluently. I
also prefer read the books in Estonian. I know that some people like
to do it in some other languages, in English for instance . I am really amused by the Estonian literature. I like to read books and stories from Andrus Kivirähk and F.R. Kreutzwald .
English
is one of the world most spoken language. You can hear it everywhere,

Me and languages Nowdays it is very common that one person can speak more than one language. There are people who have to learn different languages at school and people who do it , beacause they want to educate themselves. I think that every person should speak at least 3 languages. My mother tongue is Estonian. I can speak and write it very fluently. I like to read books in estonian and listen songs in Estonian. I know some people who prefer to do it in English. But for me it is more enjoyable to do it in my mother tounge. English is one of the most common languages in the world. Therefore it is very important to speak it. I started learning English in the third grade like most of the students. Before the lessons at school I had already learned the basic of English. My
My languages I love different languages. I mean, I really, really love different languages. I also believe and have been told that I pick them up rather easily. That might be true, although I did not pick any Greek up in Greece but that might have been because they spoke so damn fast that I could not tell if it was a word or an entire sentence. The first foreign language I learned was Russian. Considering I was ten when Estonia became a Republic, it makes sense. We began studying Russian in first grade, though it was simplified – "koška" instead of "kot", "medvešonok" instead of "medved", "saichik" etc. Did not make much sense and we mostly played some games in Russian (Tare-tareke etc). Learned as much playing outside, since we had Estonian-Russian kids around as well. Not that we played with them. It's sad

As for me, I made my choice long ago. I want to become a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature. My choice of this occupation didn't come as a sudden flash. During all school years literature was my favourite subject. I've read a lot of books by Ukrainian and foreign writers. I understand that reading books helps people in self education and in solving different life problems. I would like to teach my pupils to enjoy reading, to encourage them to learn our national language and literature, which is the source of national culture. It is known that teaching is a very specific and difficult job. It shouldn't be taken easily. The teacher is a person who is learning as well as teaching all his life. Most jobs can be done within the usual office hours from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m., but teacher's work is never done and evenings are usually spent in marking exercise-books and preparing for the next lesson. Teachers do not only teach their subjects
and is in sixth grade in Pala primary school. After finishing highschool I plan to go to Estonian Aviation Academy, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting. My first language is, of course, Estonian, but I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school at 3 grade and by watching movies I have improved my vocabulary a lot. I speak an intermediate level of Russian. I began learning it in fifth grade and all in all, I have learnt Russian for 6 years. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really be at ease in English, I feel that a cultural immersion would do
I have worked as an administrator for three years in a local hotel. I have learned all I could about my position and wish to expand my experiences. I am the assistant- manager at my current post and am responsible for most that goes on in the hotel. I have good leadership qualities and I do not buckle under pressure. I have a positive attitude and enjoy challenging myself. In addition to English I also speak French, Russian, Estonian and some Latin which makes learning new languages easier.
