Moon died at the age of 32 in 1978, after which the band released two studio albums, the UK and US top five Face Dances (1981) and the US top ten It's Hard (1982), with drummer Kenney Jones, before disbanding in 1983. They re-formed at events such as Live Aid and for reunion tours such as their 25th anniversary tour (1989) and the Quadrophenia tours of 1996 and 1997. In 2000, the three surviving original members discussed recording an album of new material, but their plans temporarily stalled upon Entwistle's death at the age of 57 in 2002. Townshend and Daltrey continue to perform as The Who, and in 2006 they released the studio album Endless Wire, which reached the top ten in the UK and US. The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, their first year of eligibility. Their display there describes them as "Prime contenders, in the minds of many, for

Bob Marley

Livingston later asserted that these songs "should never be released on an album ... they were just demos for record companies to listen to." The Wailers' first album, Catch A Fire, was released worldwide in 1973, and sold well. It was followed a year later by Burnin', which included the songs "Get Up, Stand Up" and "I Shot The Sheriff". Eric Clapton made a hit cover of "I Shot the Sheriff" in 1974, raising Marley's international profile. The Wailers broke up in 1974 with each of the three main members going on to pursue solo careers. The reason for the breakup is shrouded in conjecture; some believe that there were disagreements amongst Livingston, McIntosh, and Marley concerning performances, while others claim that Livingston and McIntosh simply preferred solo work. McIntosh began recording under the name Peter Tosh, and Livingston continued as Bunny Wailer. Bob Marley & The Wailers Despite the breakup, Marley continued recording as "Bob Marley & The Wailers". trumpet player with a semi-professional big band that played military dances. The Dwights were avid record buyers, exposing John to all the popular singers and musicians of the day. John remembers being immediately hooked on rock and roll when his mother brought home records by Elvis Presley and Bill Haley & His Comets in 1956. The young Reginald Dwight was not merely interested in music -- he was extremely talented. He started playing the piano at the age of three, and within a year, his mother heard him picking out Winifred Atwell's "The Skater's Waltz" by ear. It wasn't long before the boy was being pressed into service as a performer at parties and family gatherings. He began taking piano lessons at the age of seven. He showed great musical attitude at school, including the ability to compose melodies, and gained some notoriety by playing like Jerry Lee Lewis at school functions. At the age of 11,

Simple Plan.

They recorded only a few demos, when they got a contract with Lava Records. They gained a lot of attention with their first hit "I'm Just a Kid". Bands first album, "No Pads, No Helmets ... Just Balls", rose to the top of charts on 19th March 2002, on the day it was released. Over 2 million copies of that record were sold. Simple Plan has performed with very many bands, beginning with Rancid and ending with Aerosmith. They have also taken part in three Vans Warped tours, whereas in two of them they were the main performers and they have won MTV Video Music Awards. In 2003, Pierre and Chuck spent a lot time in Vancouver, writing songs for their next album. The producer of that album was Bob Rock, a man, who has also produced some of Metallica's and Bon Jovi's greatest albums. That album was called "Still Not Getting Any". Those eleven songs proved that Simple Plan is not a punk band, not a pop or rock band; it's just a band,

South Parki lühitutvustus

The show depicts what many people find to be taboo subject matter, from its use of vulgarity ("It Hits the Fan") to its satire of subjects such as religion and cults (such as "All About the Mormons?", "Bloody Mary", "Red Hot Catholic Love", "Fantastic Easter Special", and "Trapped in the Closet"), sexuality ("The Death Camp of Tolerance"), drugs ("My Future Self n' Me", "Up the Down Steroid"), and global warming ("Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow"). Beginning South Park began in 1992 when Trey Parker and Matt Stone, at the time students at the University of Colorado, met in a film class and created an animated short called Jesus vs. Frosty. The low-budget crudely made film featured prototypes of the main characters of South Park, including a character resembling Cartman but named "Kenny", an unnamed character resembling what is today Kenny, and two near-identical unnamed characters who
