Othello opens in the stately city of Venice

He stages yet another carefully monitored conversation with Cassio and finishes the job of hardening Othello’s heart, leading to the climax, and tragedy of the play. Othello arranges with Iago the deaths of both Desdemona and Cassio, his wife at his own hands, in the midst of his jealous anger. Because of her pledge to plea for Cassio, Desdemona only further worsens her case to her husband, solidifying his suspicions of their affair. Iago utilizes Roderigo one last time to help him in the murder of Cassio. The two however fail to kill Cassio, instead only wounding him. However, waiting for the cry of his death, Othello hears the attack and immediately takes to his part of the plan, going to Desdemona in her bed and smothering her with a pillow. In the final scenes, Iago’s wife Emilia reveals the ruse to Lodovico and Gratiano, their fellow Venetians, and incurs Iago’s anger, dying at his hands. Cassio however, having not been murdered

    Libraries

It is needed because it teaches how to find your books on your own from other libraries too because usually the same system is used for the book location. School libraries are definitely very good places to study for a test before the lesson because it is quiet there and one can use books as a helping hand. Our school library is very nice in my opinion. It is also good compared to other school libraries in our country, even one of the best. It has many good books and it's good to spend time there, laying on a couch and reading a magazine. There are about 16000 books there and you can use them there or take them home with you. If you want to borrow a book, you must take it to the librarian and she will write up your name to the database, the name of the book and the date of borrowing. Elementary school pupils can take book home for two weeks to one month. High school pupils can borrow the books for one month but they can prolong the time.

    E.M.Remarque "Läänerindel Muutuseta"

Mittelstaedt - One of Paul's classmates. Mittelstaedt becomes a training officer and enjoys tormenting Kantorek when Kantorek is conscripted as a Paul Bäumer As the novel's narrator and protagonist, Paul is the central figure in All Quiet on the Western Front and serves as the mouthpiece for Remarque's meditations about war. Throughout the novel, Paul's inner personality is contrasted with the way the war forces him to act and feel. His memories of the time before the war show that he was once a very different man from the despairing soldier who now narrates the novel. Paul is a compassionate and sensitive young man; before the war, he loved his family and wrote poetry. Because of the horror of the war and the anxiety it induces, Paul, like other soldiers, learns to disconnect his mind from his feelings, keeping his emotions at bay in order to preserve his sanity and survive.
