The national symbols of the Republic of Estonia are the Estonian flag, coat of arms, anthem, but also the national bird and flower. They all have great meaning for Estonia, although nowadays it often tends to forget. The Estonian national flag is a rectangular piece of cloth, which consists of three equal width horizontal bands of colour: the upper band is blue, medium black and white underside.
