Easter Easter is a moveable feast. It is so, because the date of Easter changes every year. Easter Sunday can fall on any date from 22 March to 25 April, but it always falls on the first Sunday following the full Moon after 21 March. Easter is the oldest and the most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ. For Christians, the dawn of Easter Sunday with its message of new life is the high point of the Christian year. I´m going to write you about my easter. In this year was my easter quiet. All family was home and we enjoyed to be together. I colured eggs in the Saturday evening with my mother. It was so much fun. We used the special colour and the eggs came very nice. In the evening we also made a delicious cake, what we could ate in Sunday morning. Our home was also decoration. Easter traditions in Estonia Easter traditions are rather young in Estonia. Our grandmothers took the eastern habits from BalticGermans without taking over the meanings painted eggs just seemed so beautiful. So for us, their grandchildren, painting eggs has no connection with religion traditions. It is more like a way of expressing one's creativity. Though schooling is only compulsory from age 5 in the UK, children most commonly enter Reception Class aged 4 in the academic year in which they will reach their 5th birthday.
