Skills

Skills+motivation+attitude=success. True or not? Having a special skills in some speciality and having an exellent motivation to reach a certain goal and also having the right attitude, then probably that is enough to succeed alomost in everything. Having a certain goal to reach is never easy but when having all important qualities to work it out it is certainly easier than without trying hard enough. Those three qualities are extremely important for achiving a goal. When you have only one quality of those it is really hard to

This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces." We have reached a situation where people communicate much less face to face. They communicate much more on the internet in chat rooms. It has created a

What qualities should, should not a teacher have

What qualities should/should not a teacher have The quality of the education of young people depends on the work of the teacher, who is largely responsible for the exchange of knowledge and skills for young people from an early age up to adulthood. What characteristics must a teacher have in order to do their job as well as possible, so that young adults become enough to start their own life? The teacher must have an advanced level of knowledge in their field. The more qualified the teacher is the better and more clearly he knows how to convey his material for students. From that depends how well young people acquire the knowledge and benefit from skills they have

Should schools permit computers for their students?

expect us to use Internet. It also simplify teacher work, teacher does not have to waste her time preparing the lessons.Because they can check out the difficult words quickly from internet. On the other hand, sitting in the computers every day is not good for our health, staring at a computer screen for several hours is enough to tire the eye muscles and it also causes stress and fatigue. Spending too much time in computer will lose students communication skills , because chatting only in the internet forums does not promote their communication skills. The worst about this problem is that in virtual world students prefer talking slang instead of correct english . And they will forget soon how to talk like they used to talk before. Finally, I really hope that in future there will be more computers in our school, that will simplify totally student`s and teacher`s lives. It will also develop our searching skills which

The Advantages and Disadvanatges of Having a Part Time Job

The Advantages and Disadvanatges of Having a Part-Time Job During Studies. Many students work while attending school for many different reasons. It can be difficult to balance work and school, but it can certainly be done. Actually, there are many advantages such as earning money,a new experience and development of the organization skills. However, you should take into account some disadvantages, for instance, the lack of time and stress. Generally speaking, students can benefit a lot from part-time jobs. The first advantage is that students can earn money. Earning money by themselves is good way to learn how to be independent. Students don't have to ask money from the parents and they can see that earning money is not so easy. Second advantage is that students can acquire more experiences and polish their skills when

Kokkuvõte: "What makes a good leader?"

What makes a good leader? There are many different leadership theories and opinions about characteristics and skills that leader should have. The Great Man Theory declares that the leaders are born not made, but the another theory claims that some people just have more leadership gifts than others. It's good to know leadership theories because the better you know them, the better you are likely to lead. If you want to succeed in your career or business, it is important to be the leader in your field. Leaders need clear sense of their calling and they need to be curios about it to notice new things

Letter and Essay 2008

Yours sincerely, Mari Mets ESSAY Choices after secondary school Many young people decide to go univeristy after secondary school, while others think that going to work is a better decision. But what are the advantages of both options? To begin with, the benfits of university cannot be denied. Even today people with degrees and more skilled workers are in need. Over the next ten years most of the new jobs will need people who have skills and education that universities offer. Moreover, not only does a degree boost your education and skills, it also enables you to earn a better living. Nevertheless, going to work after secondary school has its advantages too, particularly when a person is not interested in studying hard for five years. For example, it is wise to start working in a large company, where you have room for growth and which has a higher number of positions

Why I came to study English essay

competitions left and right and not only that. By that time I had also found out that I loved to write, specially poems and I used every opportunity to submit my works for competitions and I had the luck to win some of them. It felt good to be one of the best students in our class. As the school went on and I finally found myself in 9 th grade, just before the exams, and I realised that in the following years after my graduation from elementary school, my mathematic skills had gotten a bit rusty and I was mortified. Our teachers kept saying to us that math is really important in the future and that you have to have the knowledge in mathemathics to actually achieve something in your life. But still, there I was, writing poems and essays, even in my free time, because unlike my skills in maths and other subjects like chemistry and biology, my skills in writing had actually improved and I had also discovered my love of reading in English

Learning english by computer Learning english by computer is a really good way to evolve your skills at home. There are positive and negative sides of learning english by computer. In my opinion are there more positive sides. I think that it would be more easier when you can study whatever time you want. When you are studying by computer then you abstain from conflicts with teacher. If you have your own computer then you can study at home and at the same time lie around, eat, listen to music, etc. I think that it would be cheaper and acceptable too. Kirjand " Eksamid on kohustuslikud " (" Exams are a must ")

Because the majority of students are very nervous during exams and they can't focus and making mistakes. There also will not be enough time. Does anyone in real life situation prohibit you to check your spelling grammar from dictionary or look online help for the problems. Some people are smarter, while others do not. Also I hate thinking like all people need to be good at any skill. It's impossible, there are smart people and creative people, never both, who have both skills have poor skills. And we are not able to change this. As one wise man said: ,,Nobody really learns anything by force". Of course the important thing is being able to use those facts well, quickly and under pressure. But there are people who don't manage anything and they will not survive in our modern society. Finally, I would say that exams are pointless . A good degree is absolutely no guarantee of a good job. There are people who don't manage anything and they will not survive in our modern society

Computers should be used while studying

Computers should be used while studying Nowadays more and more students use computers while studying. While I believe that students should use more computers while studying, their parents and also teachers do not. I strongly believe that computers are useful while studying if you use them as they should be used. Firstly, using computers can improve their computer skills, which can be used later. For example finding a job. Nowadays there lots and lots of jobs which require atleast basic knowledge about computers. Therefore, it is important for them to have computer skills atleast at basic level. Secondly, using computers while studying can speed up the learning and also writing process, because it is known that the youth can find a missing word or a phrase on the internet in a matter of seconds

the foundation for business. But also I think that going to business should not be forbidden to women. The advent of the indrustial revolution and during the World Wars, while men were at the front, women took charge of the factory work and many other practical jobs. Thanks to suffragettes, women became enfranchised. Nowadays women are successfully pursuaded in a senior management. I think that bringing justice into business is justified, because many skills of a good modern manager - good communication skills, thoroughness, cooperativeness and a willingness to consult - are more likely to be found in women than in men.

To a Skylark

He is jealous, in a good way, and wishes he could create something as powerful. Shelly admires the most, how the skylark sounds very joyous. People may get their inspiration from happiness but it is often connected to sadness as people dwell upon memories and hopes. Shelly asks the lark to teach him to sound as joyous because he says that none of the existent books could ever teach him such art. Shelly ends the poem by asking the bird to teach him at least half of his skills so that the world would listen to his poetry in the way he admires the Skylark's singing. Wordsworth Wordsworth's poem is more about the speaker rather than the bird. It also praises the lark and its ability to sound joyous but it concentrates more on the wish to reach the same heights as the bird. The poem starts with Wordsworth asking the bird to lift him up and teach him. He wishes to reach the place where the lark gets it's inspiration from. I have walked through wildernesses dreary
