Learning Express Toys

Art-based learning

Art-based learning We can see that art-based learning is not a regular method in school. Although I barely can understand why. It seems to me, that it is rather interesting way of learning. I also would like to point out, that childrens emotional memory is strong and pleasant things will be understood and remembered more. Therefore I would like to discribe the method thoroughly. Only in the past few hundred years has reading been the primary way of teaching religion. For centuries, religious education relied on hearing and seeing. Religious education can benefit by returning to the ages-old methods of hearing and seeing to complement reading. This method

Learning confidence and skill

Learning confidence and skill In physical education (PE), pupils develop confidence and skills in a range of activities, such as dance, games, gymnastics, swimming, athletics, outdoor and adventurous activities. They work as individuals, in groups and in teams. Discovering what they like to do, Physical education (PE) is much more than success on the sports field. It develops competent, confident young people who understand the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. It also calls for teamwork, leadership and creative thinking. These skills enrich learning and life. bring people together through physical activity; break down barriers between groups; PE class is a place to learn that their bodies are inadequate; bodies that are already subject to bullying and merciless ridicule in and out of school. But this is more than about simply anecdotes and haunting childhood memories. There is evidence deserving of attention of why PE...

Learning English by computer

Learning english by computer Learning english by computer is a really good way to evolve your skills at home. There are positive and negative sides of learning english by computer. In my opinion are there more positive sides. I think that it would be more easier when you can study whatever time you want. When you are studying by computer then you abstain from conflicts with teacher. If you have your own computer then you can study at home and at the same time lie around, eat, listen to music, etc. I think that it would be cheaper and acceptable too. When you are studying english by computer then you don't have to think about your pronunciation. In my

Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary?

Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary? I think learning different languages are very important if you want to see world and people abroad. It makes your life easier if you can learn some larger language than Estonian. Estonian is very little language and example is quite hard to get god job if you cannot speak some world language. This is very positive that we can learn at least two foreign language in the school. Very important is than we get practice beside school lessons. Some things

"Learning and speaking foreign languages.."

"Learning and speaking foreign languages can open doors in my private life and professional life" The process of learning foreign languages can be very difficult and time-consuming, but knowing them is certainly very useful and important. Where and how is the ability of speaking foreign languages good for us? Speaking foreign languages in professional life is very important. Why should an employer prefer you to the other workers when you`re in the same level with them? Speaking foreign languages besides your native language helps you to stand out from the others workers and it gives you the advantage

Distance learning is a challenge

Marge Veskemaa Distance learning is a challenge To begin with, distance learning is very difficult. However, there are some positive things. I can plan my school work mostly. Some teachers gives a time when you need to be ready. This would mean that we can´t just lay down and relax all day. I think they give enough time and student should get ready with their work. When there is no time I can do my work in the morning, in afternoon or in the evening. With that I learn planning and I am more independent. I think one thing you need to have and that is motivation

Kõne "Learning in itself is not as important as personality and character"

Learning in itself is not as important as personality and character When I was choosing a topic what I'm going to talk about, I read: Learning in itself is not as important as personality and character, and I momentarily knew that this is a topic what I really like. First of all: What I think, which one is more important ? To be smart or individual ? And I have to say that I am absolutely sure that there is nothing better to be clever and intelligent. Like our headmaster said on September 1st, that when you are smart, you will be rich and powerful also. Education and knowledge are foundations of our life.

Advantages and disadvantages of learning in groups

Advantages and disadvantages of learning in groups There are three 10th grades in our school at the moment and the students are shared into seven groups. The groups have different teachers. At first I thought that the groups are made by educational success but this is not true. There are fifteen stundents in my group and most of them are from 10c. Only 4 girls are from 10a and from 10b there are no students in my group. In my opinion it is a great chance to make friends with everybody who graduates the sameyear with me and one of the most important advantages is fellow feeling. I think it is better if the groups are made by educational success. There are weakers and strongers in one group. If the teacher deals only with the strongers, the weakers fall behind and if the teacher deals with the weakers, the strongers are bored. Generally I am for the group system because it will be boring and tedious if we had lessons eve...

English is the only foreign language worth learning

English is the only foreign language worth learning Many people think that English is the only language what is worth learning. I strongly disagree. First of all, there is so many countries , which have their own language. I do not see a problem talking in multiple languages. It only helps us develop and communicate with so many other language speaking people. Intercourse is what connects us, but to communicate with others we need to understand one another. What is more, we do not need to be so similar. Speaking some other language makes us more intriguing. Foreign languages are like crayons, all in different colours

What is wrong with current school education?

„box“. Everyone gets graded by a certain standard, if you can not reach that line, then yo have failed. This is the fairest way, at least in concept. But not all the people have same abilities and strengths. Education should be more personal, focusin on a certain students talents and strengths and trying to develope those, so that the children could reach their full- potential and would always be encouraged to follow their heart in life. Secondly, there should be more practical learning. Practical learning is much more sufficient and also more fun. Learning can be fun, but children do not know it. Education system shuld find a way to show the fun in learning so children would grow up to be curious people, who are interested in new things and evolving. Practical learning could be a solution for this problem. In addition, schools should should perpare children for actual life. Maybe learning history for a grade A is not so important all the time. Pros and Cons of Homeschooling

Pros and Cons of Homeschooling Hello! My name is Sander and today I talk about Homeschooling. Homeschooling is becoming more popular every day, with a growth rate of 7 percent per year. There are about two million children currently learning at home. Homeschooled kids do well on standardized tests and are welcome at colleges and universities. Pros: Individual teaching attention Continuous population growth is leading to overcrowded schools in many areas. Add this to the recent economic struggles, with many schools laying off teachers or closing altogether. This means that teachers are more overwhelmed than ever, often handling classes of 40 or more children at a time.

Pros and cons of social networking

the internet. If the people are not used to speaking in real life then it could be difficult to impress yourself with words to other people and because of this it could be difficult finding a job. Social networking sites help students do better at school. It helps students browse quickly the information they need and not waste time on searching from millions of books. It helps students do homework faster and then they can have free time to do hobbies. It could also provide distance learning due to sickness or travelling. But in the other hand it’s bad because the internet enables the spread of unreliable and false information. Also people don’t read as much books if they get all the information from the internet. If students prefer internet to books, then schools would start using computers instead of books. Therefore students would not have any connections to books which could lead to people not interacting with themselves

Education

Education: Some people say that students should study only those subjects they are interested in Im going to discuss if students should study only those subjects they are interested in or not. Nowadays students are quite lazy and do not want to study or go to school. They think it is boring and parents work really hard to make them study. Also, a lot of students think that the majority of the subjects they are learning are pointless. But actually none of those are pointless and every thing has a reason. In addition to that, if students could choose the subjects themselves, then some classes would be really empty. For example, a lot of students do not like maths or reading. Math develops logic and then we could imagine how many people would be without logical thinking. And reading books enriches vocabulary, so if people do not read books at all, their vocabulary would be quite small.

I like to read books in estonian and listen songs in Estonian. I know some people who prefer to do it in English. But for me it is more enjoyable to do it in my mother tounge. English is one of the most common languages in the world. Therefore it is very important to speak it. I started learning English in the third grade like most of the students. Before the lessons at school I had already learned the basic of English. My sister is older than me and I was really interested in studying with her. Also very helpful things were cartoons and hollywood films. In everyday life I use English very often, because I read news in English and write letters in English and also at work. I have lots of friends who are English-speaking. And thats really great, because

Computers should be used while studying

I strongly believe that computers are useful while studying if you use them as they should be used. Firstly, using computers can improve their computer skills, which can be used later. For example finding a job. Nowadays there lots and lots of jobs which require atleast basic knowledge about computers. Therefore, it is important for them to have computer skills atleast at basic level. Secondly, using computers while studying can speed up the learning and also writing process, because it is known that the youth can find a missing word or a phrase on the internet in a matter of seconds. Also, they write a lot faster on computer than by hand, so it can drastically improve the speed of learning. On the other hand, students do not always use computers for learning. They use them also for playing games and communicating with their friends which can be really big factor of disturbance of the studying

The Integration of subjects

each subject individually. This structure means that pupils don’t have the capability or know-how to connect math, biology or even art into their daily life. Even though the tutors of this conventional education have faith in the arrangement of subjects it is still entirely about high test scores, grades and graduation. The essence of progressive, alternative education like the integration of subjects is learning and the accumulation of valuable knowledge & skill. If these courses would be integrated pupils would make sense of the connection between the theoretical

My ideal school

My ideal school. My ideal school would be communication-based, blending aspects of social work, conflict resolution, team building, and traditional learning. Classes would be limited to fifteen students, a size small enough to allow individual attention but large enough to furnish the feeling of belonging to a group. Creative projects would be the cornerstone of the curriculum, incorporating all the life skills that make this method of education unique. The class would be presented with a number of ideas at the beginning of each project, and would also have the option of coming up with their own idea. Some examples are raising money to donate to

Online music magazines

More children aged 5-14 say that the 'know how to play' an instrument than in 1999. This suggests that programmes such as Wilder Opportunities have had an effect on the breadth of music-making in the UK. However the aricle suggests that there are still barriers like financial opportunities – the cost of instruments and lessons, then of course the lack of parental support and students not being interested. Of children that had never played an instrument, both the cost of learning and the opportunity to do so were given as reasons than the lack of interest in learning suggests that barriers to even a first experianse remain impossible to some. The Making Music report talks further about where there are more children interested. The Chairman of Sistema England Julian Lloyd Webber said: ‘Sadly, the report shows that music is still most likely to be pushed aside in the poorer inner-city schools ‒ exactly where it could be most beneficial

In addition to traditional classes, there are online classes, which have grown exponentially in terms of popularity over the past few years. Although these computer-based courses are thought to be more convenient and inexpensive, there are still countless proponents to the traditional way of learning, who stand by social interaction and discipline. So which is more advantageous – an online class or a traditional class? To start off, online classes are more flexible than traditional classes. Spetsiifiliste õpiraskuste definitsioonid

Burkhardt, Obiakor ja Rotatori (2004) selgitavad, et õpiraskused on seotud raskestimõistetava seguga võimetest ja puudustest õpilane võib lugeda, kuid tema õigekiri on halb, ta võib suuliselt vastata, kuid ei oska sama vastust kirjutada, võib täita töölehe esimese poole veatult, kuid teha teisele poolel palju vigu jne. Study the past, if you would divine the future

mistakes you will make in the future. You can easily divine your future when you study things from your past and mistakes. On the other hand, you can't always learn from your past. When your past is full of boringness and dullness, then there isn't much to learn. And also, it is not always good to learn from the past. Because sometimes you look back on your past and make te same mistakes because you don't know what was right and what was wrong. In conclusion, learning from the past can be very good and divining. It depends on person's past and the ability of learning from the past because some people will make the same mistakes all over again.

(Natural Learning Initiative, 2012)
