Shaun White

White spent his formative years riding Okemo Mountain and Bear Mountain, small ski resorts found in Ludlow, Vermont, and the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. Snowboarding career White's skateboard career took place during the same time he was rising through the snowboard ranks. White quickly drew the eyes of many in the skateboarder scene including professional skateboarder Tony Hawk. At this point Hawk befriended the nine-year-old White at a local skatepark and mentored him, helping him turn pro in skateboarding at the age of 17. White has gone on to win many titles on his skateboard, most notably winning the overall title of Action Sports Tour Champion, as well as being the first person to compete in and win both the Summer and Winter X Games in two different sports. In december 2005 Shaun qualified for the Winter Olympics of 2006 in halfpipe snowboarding by winning two US Olympic team qualifying events in Colorado. He became an Olympic Champion after winning the gold medal in halfpipe snowboarding in Italy. His gold medal run included backtoback 900s and was run with AC/DC's "Back in Black" as his background song. After setting new standards in the world of snowboarding Shaun decided to make his mark in skateboarding also. White joined Tony Hawk on his Gigantic Skatepark Tour in 2002 and made his pro skateboarding debut at the Slam City Jam in 2003. some years later he finished first in the vert half pipe, which qualified him for the X Games in 2003. Shaun released a snowboarding movie called The White Album in November 2004 and his newest snowboarding flick is clles First Decent. Pro snowboarder Hannah Teter is also boarding in the movie. Daniel Dhers Daniel Dhers was born in March 25, 1985, in Caracas, Venezuela Daniel started riding bikes when he was twelve, just to hang out with his friends, he only took up BMX because his friends got bikes.
